TEcases is a Swiss sole proprietorship that designs and manufactures protective cases for Teenage Engineering devices. We operate the website tecases.com. For privacy enquiries contact us at hello@tecases.com.
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. Payment details are processed exclusively by Stripe and are never stored on our servers. We also collect your email address if you subscribe to our newsletter via the website popup. If you submit a review we collect your name and review content.
We use your data to: fulfil and ship your order; send you order confirmation and shipping notification emails; send a one-time review request approximately 14 days after shipment; send newsletter communications if you have subscribed. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.
For order fulfilment: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For transactional emails: contract performance. For review requests and newsletters: legitimate interest or consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting hello@tecases.com or by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email.
We use the following sub-processors who may process your personal data on our behalf:

All processors are contractually bound to handle your data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
Order data is retained for 10 years to comply with Swiss accounting obligations (Art. 958f OR). Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe. Review data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.
Under the GDPR and Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revDSG) you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; request a restriction on processing; data portability; lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

We use a single session cookie to maintain your shopping cart and admin login state. No third-party tracking or advertising cookies are used. No cookie consent banner is required as we use only strictly necessary cookies.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
